Memento Vivere (2025 – present)

‘Remember that you must live’

Previously a part of Solve x Coagula, Memento Vivere is an ongoing series of paintings exploring the wonders and curiosities of the natural world. In contrast to its dark twin, ‘Memento Mori ’, this series seeks to make life more bearable. It is full of chance encounters, moments of stillness, and times when the light hits just right.

A butterfly sitting so close you can touch it, the evening sun turning dried grass to gold – we pass by beautiful things every day. As children, it was so obvious, but now so few of us notice. When did we lose our ability to find joy in small things? When did we begin to take nature for granted? Life has made us numb to the beauty of the world around us; it has taken our inner child. More than anything, this series is about reawakening that child, bringing back our curiosity and the sense of awe that made everything seem brighter.
